VaultGuard
betaA password manager that keeps the key on your device.
Android password manager with a desktop companion and a browser extension. Everything is encrypted on the device with a key derived from your master password; optional Google sync moves only encrypted blobs, so the cloud copy is unreadable without the password. The desktop app sits in the tray, holds the vault open, and fills logins in Chrome and Firefox through the extension. It can also save a login you type in the browser. The Android app autofills other apps and websites. Open source, GPL-3.0. Not audited — keep a backup, and know that a forgotten master password is unrecoverable by design.
The desktop and the extension need a vault that the phone has published to Google sync; they have no vault of their own. Feedback from inside either app lands here — it sends the message, the version and the platform, and nothing else.
